THE PATH OF DESIRE

Goal setting is one of the ways to accelerate what we want. You simply write down the goals you have for ten years, five years, three years, one year, six months, three months, one month, two weeks, one week, and one day. Goal setting has been known to greatly accelerate both the achieving of goals and the amount of goals achieved. It is the path of desire. We keep moving toward all that we wish to have and accomplish in life. As we achieve a goal we feel good, but it is not enough to satisfy us, so we set another goal that is greater.

Goals provide us focus, and as we accomplish our goals we are empowered. In accomplishing our goal we have completed a cycle, and it builds our confidence. Just by looking at our goals at night, and when we begin our mornings, our minds naturally move toward their accomplishment. What is it you want? What is it you truly want? You will recognize that you have both short term and long term goals. Let go of goals that you've had for years and no longer want, as they rob you of energy. Simply let go of, or complete projects long half-finished as they are also a drain. Want what you want with all your heart.

Problems that come up when we set our goals just signal our fear. A problem shows that our mind is split. What comes to stop us is an obstacle which shows that hidden part of our split mind where we have been in conflict. If we think of the word "desire" as "de" "sire," or "of the sire," "of the Father," we would realize that our desire is meant to lead us home; is meant to lead us to heaven. We will never be truly satisfied until that time. Our yearning at the deepest level is always for God.
